Driver bio
Born to race. Built by the road.
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Carter has had a steering wheel, or a set of handlebars, in his hands for about as long as he can remember. Some of his earliest adventures were spent behind the wheel of the family jeep with his dog Jack riding shotgun. The two of them logged plenty of miles together long before Carter ever held a license.
That early love of anything with a motor pointed him toward dirtbikes. At just four years old he climbed onto his first bike and started riding, and it wasn’t long before riding turned into racing. The sport quickly became more than a hobby. It became his identity.

In 2013, a trip to watch his mentor Jamie compete changed everything. Seeing the racing world up close lit a fire in Carter and gave him a clear picture of where he wanted to go. The road there wasn’t smooth. The year 2014 brought his first major build failure, an early and humbling lesson in what it really takes to put a competitive bike on the line. He came back stronger, and in 2015 he lined up for his first full season — the official start of his racing career.
Away from the track, Carter is happiest outdoors. Deer Lake is his favorite escape, a place where he can swap race fuel for fresh air and unwind with family and friends. He’s a great big brother to his siblings, the kind of kid who’s always ready to lend a hand, share what he’s learned, or cheer someone else on.
Carter brings the same things to every part of his life: grit, heart, and a willingness to keep showing up. On the bike or off it, he’s just getting started.
